Tracing my original sketch onto photos of the sculpture in progress aided me in making the maquette more accurate.
Around the time we were wrapping up production on the final season of “My Life as a Teenage Robot”, I started sculpting this foot tall maquette of Jenny, the lead character. This week (about four years later) I finally got to see the finished results; a beautiful, posable, resin cast statue. A big thanks to Julie at Pretty in Plastic for helping make this happen.
